    The Sensitive Seven.

    Food allergies are all over the news these days.  From chronic indigestion and rashes to more subtle signs like depression and mood swings, the symptoms of food sensitivities have a very broad range.  That is often why the correct medical diagnosis is so elusive, as most of the symptoms can also resemble common symptoms for a range of other classified diseases.

    There are a group of foods though, that are the biggest offenders when it comes to mild – or severe – reactions.  These foods are:

    Last summer I really got into breakfast smoothies.  And even though the temperatures are struggling to get over that 60 degree mark these days in NYC (yesterday was SUCH a tease!), I’m getting back into smoothie mode.

    Here was today’s yumminess:

    • One frozen banana, sliced
    • 5 frozen strawberries
    • 1 scoop of Amazing Grass (I have regular flavor now, but the chocolate one is also delicious in smoothies!)

    Hello friends and happy Monday.  Hopefully it’s relatively happy.  Today is the last Monday of my twenties.  That’s kind of strange for me to wrap my head around.  Not that I’m upset or nervous or desperately trying to hold on to years gone by, it’s just strange to realize that growing up actually does happen.

    The touch….  The feel….  Of Pesticides… The Fabric of our lives!
